Andy Cohen's Newborn Son Takes Flight For The First Time

Looks like Andy Cohen’s time in Los Angeles has ended as he and his newborn son have packed their bags for his hometown of New York City.

The first-time father shared a photo of him and baby Benjamin Allen on what appears to be a very swanky private jet. “Digging the #dadgear” was what he wrote on the corresponding post while posing for the camera with Ben placed on the front of him.

His Instagram has been lit up like a Christmas tree ever since welcoming Benjamin into the world on Monday, February 4. Andy’s latest post is no different, as he received tons of well-wishes from his celebrity friends and fans alike.

Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel wrote “This is the best” next to an XO and kiss emoji. Others who chimed in with their kind words included supermodel Naomi Campbell and journalist Katie Couric.

Andy has been in Los Angeles for weeks now due to his impending fatherhood. He moved his popular late-night talk show Watch What Happens Live there as a result, where tons of stars like RuPaul and Christina Aguilera joined him on stage.

He first revealed the news about him becoming a father during an episode of WWHL shortly before the holidays. Andy chose his good friend Bruce Bozzi to be his son’s godfather, a decision he talked about two days after his surrogate gave birth.

Andy Cohen Details Beautiful Story About His Son’s Godfather Bruce Bozzi

Andy Cohen is officially a dad.

He welcomed his first child into the world via surrogate on Monday, February 4. It was a whirlwind time for him leading up to this big event as he only announced his impending fatherhood shortly before the holidays.

Andy shared a photo of his newborn son, named Benjamin Allen, that same evening on his Instagram page. The only other photo(s) that he has uploaded since then revolve around who he chose as his baby’s godfather… and its not his BFF Anderson Cooper.

The Watch What Happens Live host picked his buddy Bruce Bozzi, who is a restaurateur for The Palm Restaurant Group. He has been in Andy’s life for several years and the two have now experienced a full circle moment after the birth of his son on Monday.

Andy became godfather to Bruce’s daughter Ava several years ago, and now its Bruce’s turn to do the same for Benjamin.

“Here’s a #TBT 11 years in the making!” Andy wrote. “First is November 2007 w/ best friend @brucebozzi on the day of my goddaughter, Ava’s, birth. Swipe to Monday, the day Bruce’s godson, Benjamin, was born. What a journey through life friendship takes us, and how lucky am I....”

Several of Andy’s celeb buddies commented on the exciting news, notably Ricky Martin who left a ton of baby-related emojis next to the word “LIFE!!!”

Meet Andy Cohen's New Baby!

Late last year Bravo host Andy Cohen snatched everyone’s wig off when he announced that he was expecting a baby via surrogate on his show Watch What Happens Live! The silver daddy, shared the news surrounded by some of the leading personalities in the Housewives franchise and the internet blew up in celebration.

If you follow Andy on social media you will know that many of the Housewives joined him for a rumpus at his baby shower at The Palm in Los Angeles. The affair included tipsy table dancing and selfies galore! It was an A Star is Born theme—and even John Mayer was there!

All the happiness with his BFFs does not compare to the happiness he must be feeling today, though.

On Instagram, Andy Cohen announced that his new baby boy was born. His name, Benjamin Allen Cohen—weighing in at 9 pounds 2 ounces and 20 inches long! Baby Benjamin was born at 6:35pm PST and Andy is now a proud papa. The baby is named after Andy’s grandfather, Ben Allen.

Mazel Tov, Andy!

Andy Cohen Has a 2nd Star-Studded Baby Shower

Andy Cohen’s Baby Shower tour continues (kidding).

Andy had a major celebration in Beverly Hills on Saturday, January 26, where Tamra Judge took her top off, Lisa Rinna danced wildly and Jerry O’Connell and John Mayer appeared to be the lone heterosexuals there.

Lots of the Housewives and friends who attended were primarily based on the west coast, so it made sense for Andy to have another one for his for his east coast peeps (where he’s originally from).

The east coast version was less Housewife, more Emmy winners and journalists. It included his pals Kelly Ripa, Anderson Cooper and Sarah Jessica Parker.

This baby shower looked like it happened before the Beverly Hills one as Andy has been in California for the past couple of days.

"I had a heart-boner for days after this crew threw me an equally epic affair on the East Coast," he wrote on his Instagram. "I feel loved & it’s all going to the baby."

Anderson was nice enough to make him a ribbon hat for the occasion which he thanked him for within the post.

The Watch What Happens Live host is expecting his first child in a matter of days based on the fact that it said it was six weeks until his surrogate was due shortly before Christmas. He made the joyous baby announcement on his late night show alongside several OG Housewives like Vicki Gunvalson, NeNe Leakes, Teresa Giudice, Ramona Singer and Kyle Richards.

He has moved his show and himself to Los Angeles over the past couple of weeks from New York City as his days until he's becoming a father get smaller and smaller.

Pretty Much Every Housewife Plus John Mayer Attended Andy Cohen's Baby Shower

Andy Cohen clearly has a lot of love around him.

The Watch What Happens Live host is getting closer and closer to becoming a father for the first time.

He first revealed the joyous baby news while hosting his late night talk show right before Christmas, where several OG Housewives (Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson, NeNe Leakes, Teresa Giudice, Ramona Singer) were the guests for that particular episode.

All of those women decided to come together to throw Andy a super swank baby shower, which took place (and is still taking place) on Saturday, January 26, in Beverly Hills.

It appears as if the majority of the Housewives attended the lavish soiree, as well as Andy's heterosexual buddy John Mayer

I perused several Instagram accounts, including Andy's, to get a tally of who showed up. Here's what I've found so far:

Deuces, NYC! Andy Cohen Packs His Bags for Los Angeles

It's been a hectic month for Andy Cohen to say the least.

The late night talk show host revealed shortly before the Christmas holiday that he is going to be a first time father sometime in February, as his surrogate is only weeks from giving birth. He later on announced during his hosting gig on CNN's New Years Eve alongside his BFF Anderson Cooper that baby number one for him will be a boy.

Speaking of New Year's Eve, the Watch What Happens Live host got torn apart on social media with many people wishing that Kathy Griffin would return and replace him. Sadly that didn't happen, and probably won't happen for a long time (if ever).

Now Andy has revealed another big piece of news, as he told PEOPLE on Monday that he's moving to Los Angeles from New York City... at least for a short period of time.

WWHL will be relocating to LA for six weeks beginning January 14th. He's done this show in the sunny Californian city in the past not once but twice.

"Moving the Clubhouse to L.A. is a win all the way around." he said. "There will be great guests, great energy and I can make a 9 p.m. dinner reservation after we get off the air!"

The guests for his show are pretty fabulous so far, with RuPaul, Christina Aguilera and more planning on stopping by. All of this will be in preparation for possibly the biggest moment of his life: becoming a dad.

Andy Cohen Gets SLAMMED Again on Social Media for His New Year's Eve Hosting Gig

Social media has spoken, and once again, they didn't seem to enjoy Andy Cohen hosting CNN's New Year's Eve special for the second year in a row.

Andy replaced Kathy Griffin last year after the red headed comedian got herself into a ton of hot water over the whole Donald Trump mask debacle. The Watch What Happens Live host was categorically slammed on social media as a result for his hosting abilities alongside Anderson Cooper, and that didn't change much this year.

Kathy had some fun with this as well, retweeting several supportive tweets from fans who miss her on the CNN podium in Times Square.

She also claimed that Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones was in talks to replace Andy this year but wasn't able to due to a variety of reasons. Leslie wound up appearing on NBC's telecast alongside Chrissy Teigen and Carson Daly

There was some joy for Andy last night regardless of how badly he was criticized on social media. The 50-year-old made the announcement that he's having a boy only days after revealing that he's going to be a father for this first time in his life.

How did you think Andy did during his hosting duties?

Kathy Griffin Dishes On Who Almost Replaced Andy Cohen on CNN's NYE Telecast

Kathy Griffin is spilling some delicious tea regarding some allegations over who was supposed to replace Andy Cohen for this year's CNN New Year's Eve telecast.

The legendary comedian hosted this alongside Anderson Cooper for several years but got the axe in 2017 after her whole Donald Trump mask debacle. Andy replaced her, much to the frustration of people in and out of the LGBTQ community. The Watch What Happens Live host was then trashed on social media during the live telecast last NYE.

She discussed who was supposed to replace Andy early Monday morning with a tweet that started with "I’ve been in this business for over 30 years...I’ve gotten to know everybody. A few little birdies told me some juicy nuggets..."

Turns out it was allegedly Saturday Night Live comedian Leslie Jones that was in talks to replace Andy... according to Kathy.

It was news that Kathy was quite happy about.

Kathy then gushed over how much she loved Leslie.

She then heard that Leslie had been "downgraded her to a couple of segments or some sort of a guest role."

This made Kathy very frustrated about their treatment of Leslie.

She then heard from other people that the reason Leslie was dropped was because NBC Universal did not want her appearing on another network.

Turns out she'll be appearing on NBC's New Year's Eve telecast, but not as a cohost. Those privileges belong to Carson Daly and Chrissy Teigen

Kathy wasn't done however, as she questioned why NBC Universal wouldn't have an issue with Andy jumping ship to CNN but when it comes to Leslie they allegedly would.

She then discussed the issues surrounding how much she got paid versus Anderson for the gig, and hopes that Leslie gets paid fairly for her turn.

How Did Andy Cohen Keep His Impending Fatherhood a Secret?

Jaws dropped on Thursday when Andy Cohen revealed that he is going to be a father for the first time ever in a matter of weeks.

He made the announcement during an episode of Watch What Happens Live amongst several OG Real Housewives including Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson and NeNe Leakes.

“Tonight, I want you to be the first to know, after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science, if all goes according to plan in about six weeks’ time I’m going to become a father thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future,” he revealed as the audience and other Housewives shrieked.

Andy shared their reactions after he said the news on his Instagram Sunday night (the original view was just his face). So how the heck did he keep this huge life decision from them and the rest of the world?

Radar Online exclusively found out that he simply did what many of us do in our daily lives... he didn't tell them (them meaning the Housewives).

“None of the Real Housewives knew," an insider told Radar. "They can’t be trusted and gossip too much,” an insider told Radar. “Plus, he knew one of them would leak it on social media to get more followers!”

Insiders say that only a couple of select friends knew what was really going on. "Anderson Cooper and Sarah Jessica Parker knew along with his family and a few close friends,” the source continued. “But he kept the secret by telling almost nobody!”

Radar also claimed that Andy will be taking time off when he becomes a father next year. So will his baby be making an eventual appearance on WWHL or even better... at one of the Housewives reunions? Time will tell.

Andy Cohen Gets Mazel of the Year With Huge Announcement

On Thursday´s episode of Watch What Happens LiveAndy Cohen shared some exciting news--he's gonna be a daddy--and not the kind you think. Cohen, who is 50, during his final show of 2018 revealed the news that he will be having a baby via surrogate in front of the great lineup of Housewives guests: NeNe Leakes, Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson, Ramona Singer, and Teresa Giudice.

During the announcement, Cohen shared:

Tonight I want to share a little personal news of my own. To the viewers at home, I call you my friends at home because we are friends. You have supported me through almost 10 years of live… This has been an incredible joyous journey with you all. I am grateful to be able to live my dream every day and grateful to you for coming along for the ride. And throughout it, I’ve always tried to be as transparent as possible about my life — I overshare and expect everyone to do the same. Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science — if all goes according to plan in about six weeks time I’m going to become a father. Thanks to a wonderful surrogate who is carrying my future. Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something that I have wanted in my heart for my entire life. Though it’s taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet.

Nothing else has been revealed about Cohen´s upcoming bundle of joy.
